For somebody reading this and hearing about the band for the first time, how would you describe your sound and your history ?
mercedes - history really doesnt matter at this point. i would describe our sound as heavy melodic and a little bit doomy at times.

How would you describe the sound of this CD compared to your previous albums ?
ive failed you is leaps and bounds beyond anything weve ever recorded. we strive to outdo our pervious recordings with every album and i think we succeeded

What inspired your lyrics ?
ive faile you's lyrical content is based on the last two years. we all went through some very significant life changes including the end of a relationship.

What's currently in heavy rotation in your CD player ?
the unwinding hours

Do you remember the band's first live show ?
i do, feb 18th 1998... and it was horrible

Kittie is embarking on a North America tour in September. Any plans to go on Europe ?
we will hopefully be in europe next year :)
